FESTIVAL OF UNLEAVENED BREAD

“And on the fifteenth day of this month is the Festival of Unleavened Bread to YAHUAH—seven days you eat unleavened bread.  On the first day you have a set-apart gathering, you do no servile work.  And you shall bring an offering made by fire to YAHUAH for seven days.  On the seventh day is a set-apart gathering, you do no servile work.”  (Lev/Way. 23:6-8)

LIGHTING THE MENORAH

Blessed are You YAHUAH our Elohim, Sovereign of the Universe, Who has set us apart in Your Word, and given us Yahushuah our Messiah, and commanded us to be light to the world.  So be it.

Blessed are You, YAHUAH our Elohim, Sovereign of the Universe, Who has kept us alive, sustained us, and brought us to this season.

May it be Your will, YAHUAH my Elohim and Elohim of my forefathers, that You show favor to us, to all our relatives, and to all of Yisra’el; and that You grant us and all Yisra’el a good and long life; that You remember us with a beneficent memory and blessing; that You consider us with a consideration of salvation and compassion; that You bless us with great blessings; that You make our households complete; that You cause Your Presence to dwell among us.  May we, our children, and our children’s children grow to be wise and understanding, to love YAHUAH and fear Elohim, to be people of truth, set-apart, attached to YAHUAH, to illuminate the world with Torah, the Good News of Yahushuah, and good deeds and with every labor in the service of the Creator.  Please, hear our supplication at this time, and cause the Light of Yahushuah our Messiah to shine through us and not be extinguished, and let Your countenance shine so that we are saved. In the Name of Yahushuah HaMashiach of Natsareth, Son of the Living Elohim, So be it.

BARCHU

Leader: Bless YAHUAH, the Blessed One.

Congregation:  Blessed is YAHUAH, the Blessed One, forever and ever.

Leader:  Blessed, praised, esteemed, exalted and upraised is the Name of the Sovereign Who rules over sovereigns—the Set-Apart One, Blessed is He.  For He is the First and He is the Last and aside from Him there is no mighty-one.  Extol Him—Who rides the highest heavens—by His Name, YAH, and exult before Him.  His Name is exalted beyond every blessing and praise.  Blessed be the Name of YAHUAH from this time and forever.

Blessed are You, YAHUAH, our Elohim, Sovereign of the universe, Whose word brings on evenings.  You open the gates of dawn with wisdom, change the day’s divisions with understanding, set the succession of seasons, and arrange stars in the sky according to Your will.  You create day and night, removing light before darkness and darkness before light.  You cause day to pass and bring night, and separate between day and night—YAHUAH, Master of Hosts, is Your Name.  May the Living and Enduring Elohim continuously reign over us, forever and ever.  Blessed are You, YAHUAH, Who brings on evenings.

SHEMA

With an eternal love have You loved the House of Yisra’el, Your nation.  Torah and commands, laws and right-rulings have You taught us.  Therefore, YAHUAH our Elohim, when we lie down and when we rise up, we will speak of Your laws and we will rejoice in the words of the study of Your Torah and with Your commands forever and ever.  For they are our life and the length of our days; we will meditate on them day and night.  May You not remove Your love from us forever.  Blessed are You, YAHUAH, Who loves His nation Yisra’el.

Sh’ma Yisra’el:  YAHUAH Eloheynu, YAHUAH Echad.

Hear O Israel:  YAHUAH our Elohim, YAHUAH is One.

Blessed is the Name of His esteemed sovereignty forever and ever.

“And you shall love Yahuah your Elohim with all your heart, and with all your being, and with all your might.  And these words which I am commanding you today shall be in your heart, and you shall impress them upon your children, and shall speak of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up, and shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes.  And you shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.” (Deb. 6:5-9)

SHEMONEH ESREI—AMIDAH

YAHUAH, My Master, open my lips, that my mouth may declare Your praise.

Patriarchs

Blessed are You, YAHUAH our Elohim and the Elohim of our forefathers, Elohim of Abraham, Elohim of Yitshaq, and Elohim of Ya’aqob; the great, mighty, and awesome Elohim, the supreme Elohim, Who bestows beneficial kindnesses and creates everything, Who recalls the kindnesses of the Patriarchs and brings a Redeemer to their children’s children, for His Name’s sake, with love.  O Sovereign, Helper, Savior, and Shield.  Blessed are You, YAHUAH, Shield of Abraham and Father of our Master and Redeemer Yahushuah the Messiah.

Might of Elohim

You are eternally mighty, my Master, the Resuscitator of the dead are You; abundantly able to save, Who makes the wind blow and makes the rain descend.  Who sustains the living with kindness, resuscitates the dead with abundant compassion, supports the fallen, heals the sick, releases the confined, and maintains His faith to those asleep in the dust.  Who is like You, O Master of mighty deeds, and who is comparable to You, O Sovereign Who causes death and restores life and makes salvation sprout!  And You are faithful to resuscitate the dead.  Blessed are You, YAHUAH, Who resuscitates the dead.

Set-Apartness of the Name of Elohim

You are set-apart and Your Name is set-apart, and set-apart ones praise You every day, forever, for You are Elohim, the great and set-apart Sovereign.  Blessed are You, YAHUAH, the Set-Apart Elohim.

Setting Apart the Day

You have chosen us from all the peoples; You loved us and found favor in us; You exalted us above all the tongues and You set us apart with Your commands.  You drew us close, our Sovereign, to Your service and proclaimed Your great and Set-Apart Name upon us.  And You gave us, YAHUAH, our Elohim, with love appointed festivals for gladness, Festivals and times for joy, this day of the Festival of Unleavened Bread, the time of our freedom, a set-apart gathering, a memorial of the Exodus from Mitsrayim, a remembrance of our redemption and salvation in Messiah Yahushuah, and an expectation of the great exodus from Babylon to come.

Our Elohim and the Elohim of our forefathers, may there rise, come, reach, be noted, be favored, be heard, be considered, and be remembered—the remembrance and consideration of ourselves; the remembrance of our forefathers; the remembrance of our Messiah Yahushuah, Son of David, Your servant; the remembrance of Yerushalayim, the City of Your set-apartness; the remembrance of Your entire people, the house of Yisra’el—before You for deliverance, for goodness, for favor, for kindness, and for compassion, for good life, and for peace on this day of the Festival of Unleavened Bread.  Remember us on it, YAHUAH, our Elohim, for goodness, consider us on it for blessing, and help us on it for good life.  In the matter of salvation and compassion, pity, be favorable and compassionate with us and help us, for our eyes are turned to You, because You are Elohim, the favorable and compassionate Sovereign.

Bestow upon us, O YAHUAH, our Elohim, the blessing of Your appointed festivals for life and for peace, for gladness and for joy, as You desired and promised to bless us.  Set us apart with Your commands and grant us our share in Your Torah; satisfy us from Your goodness and gladden our souls with Your salvation, and purify our heart to serve You sincerely.  And grant us a heritage, O YAHUAH, our Elohim—with gladness and with joy—the appointed festivals of Your set-apartness, and may Yisra’el, those who set apart Your Name, rejoice in You.  Blessed are You, YAHUAH, Who sets apart Yisra’el and the festive seasons.

Service of the Set-Apart Place

Be favorable, YAHUAH, our Elohim, toward Your people Yisra’el, turn to their prayer and restore the service to the Most Set-Apart Place of Your House.  Speedily accept the fire-offerings of Yisra’el and their prayer with love and favor, and may the service of Your people Yisra’el always be favorable to You.  May our eyes behold Your return to Tsiyon in compassion.  Blessed are You, YAHUAH, Who restores His Presence to Tsiyon.

Thanksgiving

We gratefully thank You, for it is You Who are YAHUAH, our Elohim and the Elohim of our forefathers forever and ever; our Rock, Rock of our lives, Shield of our salvation are You from generation to generation.  We shall thank You and relate Your praise—for our lives, which are committed to Your power and for our souls that are entrusted to You; for Your miracles that are with us every day; and for Your wonders and favors in every season—evening, morning, and afternoon.  The Beneficent One, for Your compassions were never exhausted, and the Compassionate One, for Your kindnesses never ended—for we have always put our hope in You.

For all these, may Your Name be blessed, exalted, and extolled, our Sovereign, continually forever and ever.

Everything alive will gratefully acknowledge You, Selah! And praise and bless Your great Name sincerely, forever, for it is good.  O Elohim of our salvation and help, Selah! The Beneficent Elohim.  Blessed are You, YAHUAH, Your Name is ‘The Beneficent One’ and to You it is fitting to give thanks.

Peace

Establish peace, goodness, blessing, life, favor, kindness, and compassion upon us and upon all of Your people Yisra’el.  Bless us, our Father, all of us as one, with the Light of Your countenance, for with the light of Your countenance You gave us, YAHUAH our Elohim, the Torah of life in Yahushuah our Messiah, and a love of kindness, righteousness, blessing, compassion, life, and peace.  And may it be good in Your eyes to bless us and to bless all of Your people Yisra’el, in every season and in every hour with Your abundant strength and peace.  Blessed are You, YAHUAH, Who blesses His people Yisra’el with peace.

May the expressions of my mouth and the thoughts of my heart find favor before You, YAHUAH, my Rock and my Redeemer, in the Name of Yahushuah HaMashiach of Natsareth, Son of the Living Elohim.

My Elohim, guard my tongue from evil and my lips from speaking deceitfully.  To those who curse me, let my soul be silent; and let my soul be like dust to everyone.  Open my heart to Your Torah, then my soul will pursue Your commands.  As for all those who design evil against me, speedily nullify their counsel and disrupt their design.  May it be Your will, YAHUAH, my Elohim and the Elohim of my forefathers, that human jealousy may not rise up against me, nor my jealousy upon others; may I not become angry today, and may I not anger You.  Remove all evil inclinations from my being in the Name of Yahushuah HaMashiach of Natsareth, and place in my heart submissiveness and humility.  O our Sovereign and our Elohim, cause Your Name to be unified in Your world; rebuild Your city, lay the foundation of Your House, perfect Your Set-Apart Place; gather in the scattered exiles, redeem Your sheep, and gladden Your congregation.  Act for Your Name’s sake; act for Your right hand’s sake; act for Your Torah’s sake; act for Your set-apartness sake.  That Your beloved ones may be given rest; let Your right hand save, and respond to me.  May the expressions of my mouth and the thoughts of my heart find favor before You, YAHUAH, my Rock and my Redeemer.  He Who makes peace in His heights, may He make peace upon us, and upon all Yisra’el.  In the Name of Yahushuah HaMashiach of Natsareth, Son of the Living Elohim, So be it.
