SHABBAT SHALOM!
CHAG SAMEACH! Happy Festival!
Sukkot begins 10/2 at sundown, the first day is a Sabbath.
Sukkot is finally here! The fall festival season reaches its height of joy and rejoicing at this Festival of Booths, celebrating YAH dwelling with His people.
We have our materials for Sukkot up on the website. There is a new page with a lesson on Sukkot in the Reign of Elohim. Ever since Adam and Hawwah, YAH has been working a way to once again dwell with His people as at the beginning. YAHUSHUAH defeated the serpent of old so we can once again dwell with our Father. Festival of Booths--YAH dwells with His people. HalleluYAH!
We will begin Sukkot with a worship and prayer service on 10/2/09 in the evening (at sundown). This service will open the festival and also welcome the Shabbat. Once again, the Sabbath of the Festival lines up with the weekly Sabbath--a double blessing of rest and joy! Praise YAH! We will continue worshipping Elohim on Shabbat morning. We are also busy making final preparations for our big Festival Celebration this weekend. Throughout the week, we will have daily prayer each morning following the prayer guide. Next Shabbat will be Shmini Atzeret--the 8th day of Assembly. The 8th Day of Assembly will begin 10/9/09 at sundown, also lining up with the weekly Sabbath.
See our Resources page for the prayer book containing the prayers, praises, and Scripture readings for the whole week of Sukkot. YAH has given us a whole week of rejoicing! Remember each day that this is the season of joy that YAH has given us. Do not allow any attempts of the adversary to steal your joy. REJOICE! For YAHUSHUAH dwells with us! BELIEVE IT!
"For seven days you shall observe a festival to YAHUAH your ELOHIM in the place which YAHUAH chooses, because YAHUAH your ELOHIM does bless you in all your increase and in all the work of your hands, and YOU SHALL BE ONLY REJOICING!" (Deb/Deut. 16:15)
May YAHUAH bless you this Festival of Sukkot with times of joy, blessings, rest, and peace, in the Set-Apart Name of YAHUSHUAH, so be it. Praise YAH!
