Shabbat Shalom!

All praises to YAHUAH Elohim and esteem to His Messiah YAHUSHUAH!

Peace and blessings to you!

The spring Festival Season is upon us! It seems as if we just finished Sukkot and here we are at Pesach! Praise YAH!

This Pesach is our season of freedom! As we've noted in our past few emails, YAHUAH has given us a way out of captivity. He provided a means for us to plead before Him with Messiah YAHUSHUAH as our Advocate and be released from all the bondages that keep us from completing His will. We followed the steps that YAHUAH showed us, and we know by His Spirit that we are indeed free. “If, then, the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed" (Yoh. 8:36). Because this assembly has been set free, all those connected to us are set free! We've been hearing several testimonies from people who have experienced big changes in their lives for the better. Praise YAH!

Truly, this Passover, we will celebrate our freedom! This will be an important celebration for all Yahudim because this is the year of setting the captives free.

Make this Passover special in your life. Of course, we observe the Sabbaths of the Festival. Passover begins at sundown 3/28, and it continues until sundown 3/29. This day is not specifically mentioned as a Sabbath in Torah, however, we generally observe it as a day of no work in order to remember our Messiah. He died on this day (14th of Abib) so we keep the day focused on Him as a remembrance. The following day is the first day of the Festival of Unleavened Bread. It begins at sundown 3/29 and continues to 3/30 at sundown. This day is commanded as a Sabbath--no work. The seventh day is also a Sabbath. It begins 4/4 at sundown and continues to 4/5 at sundown. These are THREE days you should arrange to have off from work. Print a calendar from our Resources page to make sure you have the correct days.

Now is the time to begin Passover preparations--both spiritually and physically. It's time to examine our lives, openly and honestly, and come to repentance. It is time to begin cleaning out the 'chametz', the leaven, from our lives. Chametz represents sin. In area in our life that is not pleasing to YAHUAH, we must correct. Cleanse the leaven out of our lives and commit to living a sinless life. If you have not taken a mikvah (water immersion in the Name of YAHUSHUAH), please do so before Passover. See our Resources page for Mikvah instructions and contact us if you need Pine Oil for Life anointing oil.

In the natural, physical, realm, also begin cleaning. Any items in your possession that are not of YAHUAH, remove it far from you. Also, just clean in general. This is an important Festival time of the year. Just as we used to prepare for pagan days, even more we should prepare for the Correct Set-Apart Days. Clean, decorate, invite guests during the week--anything to show that the Festival week is indeed special, set-apart and different from all other times of the year. Remember, we are observing a very special time--the death, burial, and resurrection of our Sovereign YAHUSHUAH! This time deserves to be different from our ordinary lives. So begin planning ways to make the week of Passover SET-APART in your life.

May YAHUAH Elohim, Sovereign of the universe, bless you with His spiritual wisdom from above to guide you in all your Passover preparations. May He be with you and strengthen you and guard you in all your ways and make your way prosperous, in the Set-Apart Name of Sovereign YAHUSHUAH, so be it.
