SABBATH READINGS 7/10/10
July 9, 2010
YAHUAH, I have loved the abode of Your house, And the place where Your esteem dwells. (Teh/Psa 26:8)
Shabbat Shalom Family!
Praises to YAHUAH Most High for His goodness in our lives! HalleluYAH!
Last Shabbat, we talked a little about the Army of Righteousness in the Reign of Elohim. A nation is made up of a number of people, but only a small fraction of the population make up the army. Not everyone is a soldier. We are part of the nation of Yahudim that spans across the world, and YAHUAH has led this assembly to be soldiers of Elohim. Not even everyone in the assembly will be soldiers because it is primarily voluntary. It depends on how far we desire to go with YAHUAH. How far will we obey the First and Second Great Commands—to love YAHUAH and to love our neighbor. YAHUAH wants us to love Him enough to fight for His righteousness to prevail on the earth, destroying the works of the enemy. He wants us to love our neighbor enough to fight for their freedom from the adversary.
Being a soldier in the Reign requires Belief and Love. If we’re missing either one, we’re not a fit soldier.
How do we become fit? We start with Bootcamp. In Bootcamp, we go through stresses in order to become stronger. We’ll face things in our life that will drive us to greater belief and greater love. But we have to graduate bootcamp. We cannot allow stresses to tear us down, makes us lose faith, or call it quits in our walk with YAHUAH. Only in progression (growth) and strengthening can we graduate Bootcamp and move on.
After Bootcamp, we go through special training. We go through even greater trials and tests to make us the soldier YAHUAH wants us to be. These trials require endurance of our belief. It requires denying ourselves and following YAHUSHUAH completely. It requires a fast of our life according to Yesh/Is. 58—to give up our will to do His will.
Yesh/Is. 58:6-7 “Is this not the fast that I have chosen: to loosen the tight cords of wrongness, to undo the bands of the yoke, to exempt the oppressed, and to break off every yoke? (7) “Is it not to share your bread with the hungry, and that you bring to your house the poor who are cast out; when you see the naked, and cover him, and not hide yourself from your own flesh?"
When special training is complete, then we are a fit soldier. Ready to stand ground and fight for the Reign of Elohim. Ready to fight to free our neighbor—the people whom YAHUAH created out of His love.
Be strong! Be encouraged! Be strengthened!
We will stand for a great work to free those in captivity and stop the work of the enemy on the earth!
Do not lose heart! Be encouraged!
Seek His Face continually.
Yesh/Is. 58:8-11 “Then your light would break forth like the morning, your healing spring forth speedily. And your righteousness shall go before you, the esteem of ???? would be your rear guard. (9) Then, when you call, YAHUAH would answer; when you cry, He would say, ‘Here I am.’ “If you take away the yoke from your midst, the pointing of the finger, and the speaking of unrighteousness, (10) if you extend your being to the hungry and satisfy the afflicted being, then your light shall dawn in the darkness, and your darkness be as noon. (11) Then YAHUAH would guide you continually, and satisfy your being in drought, and strengthen your bones. And you shall be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail."

ROSH CHODESH The new month (new moon) will be 7/11/10 at sundown.
The lesson of being a fit soldier is very appropriate for the coming month. This weekend we begin the fifth month of the Scriptural Hebrew year. The fifth month is often remembered as a month of tragedy because on the 9th day, both the First and Second Set-Apart Place in Yerushalayim were destroyed. The 9th will end a three-week period of mourning that our Jewish brothers have been observing. This is the time to pray sincerely and intercede for Yisrael, for all Yahudim, and for the world.
Rosh Chodesh Blessing:
Blessed are You, YAHUAH our Elohim, Sovereign of the universe, Who has kept us in life, sustained us, and enabled us to reach this season.
May it be Your will, YAHUAH our Elohim and the Elohim of our forefathers, that You inaugurate this month upon us for goodness and for blessing. May You give us long life—a life of peace, a life of goodness, a life of blessing, a life of sustenance, a life of physical health, a life in which there is fear of heaven and fear of sin, a life in which there is no shame nor humiliation, a life of wealth and respect, a life in which we have a love of Torah and fear of heaven, a life in which YAHUAH fulfills our heartfelt requests for the good. So be it. Selah.
YAHUAH, He Who performed miracles for our forefathers and redeemed them from slavery to freedom, He Who sent His Son YAHUSHUAH to redeem us from the slavery of sin and falsehood—may He redeem us soon and gather in our dispersed from the four corners of the earth; all of Yisrael, becoming brothers. So be it.
The new month, the fifth month of the year, is on this second day of the Sabbath, which is coming to us and all Yisra’el for goodness.
May YAHUAH, the Set-Apart One, blessed is He, renew it upon us and upon all His people, the Family of Yisra’el, for goodness and for blessing, for joy and for gladness, for deliverance and for comfort, for good sustenance and for support, for good life and for peace, for good report and for good news, for rains in their proper time, for complete recovery, and for early redemption. In the Set-Apart Name of YAHUSHUAH, So be it.

SHABBAT READINGS SCHEDULE
Recently, we added the Shabbat Readings Schedule to our Resources page. You can print a copy and have it with you in case you are unable to get to a computer. We will continue our weekly email as a reminder and to keep in touch.
We have been having some problems with our website and haven't been able to get a few new pages up like we hoped. We're working through them and hopefully we'll have the new pages up soon. We're preparing for the second part of the Engagement that we began at Shavuot. The new lessons will help us to go further in our understanding of YAHUAH and prepare us for Sukkot, the Marriage.
Again, we hope that you have begun planning for the Fall Festivals. They'll be here quicker than we realize. If you missed Pesach and Shavuot at the House called by His Name, then Sukkot is the last one of the year. Make an effort and pray for YAHUAH to make the way.
********************************************
May YAHUAH Elohim, Sovereign of the universe, be with you this Sabbath Day and in the coming week for comfort and for peace and for right-ruling in your life. May He give you the strength to stand for His Name, in the Name of our Sovereign YAHUSHUAH, so be it.
