The Family of Messiah Spiritual Warfare team traveled to Egypt on May 25, 2009 to begin our Mission to Israel. We followed the route of the Exodus from Egypt--beginning in Cairo, then traveling to Sinai, on to Jordan, and then finally entering Israel.  On May 28th, we arrived at the base of the mountain called Sinai (or Horeb). We slept and ate very little (due to sickness) and awoke at 2:00am the next morning in order to begin our climb up the mountain by 3am. Some of us rode camels and some of us walked. We had to rely solely on the strength of Elohim to carry us, and He strengthened us the whole way!

YAH strengthened, and He guided our every move. He positioned us in such a way that one of us remained stationed at the base of the mountain, another was stationed about half-way up, and the rest of us climbed to the top. Several times in Scriptures the people are divided so that some stand afar, others (like the priests) draw closer, and chosen ones (like Moshe & Yehoshua) draw even closer.  We believe YAH led us to these positions so that all peoples would be covered in our prayers.  HalleluYAH!

We ended up on Mt. Horeb on the same day as the Festival of Weeks (Shavuot) which celebrates the giving of the Laws!  All this without planning! Only by the Hand of Elohim!

On Mount Horeb, we prayed and interceded for the world. We prayed for YAH to hold back His wrath and give the people more time to repent. This is just how Moshe prayed when the people sinned with the golden calf (Shem/Ex. 32:7-14) and YAH relented in His great compassion (Shem/Ex. 34:1-10).
