SUKKOT IN THE REIGN OF ELOHIM!
Understanding the Festival of Booths

To fully understand Sukkot, we must first understand the Principles of Elohim.

  1. YAHUAH Elohim is the Most High Creator of the universe
  2. Disobedience equals sin.
  3. YAHUAH created two special people for Himself:  Adam & Hawwah (eve).  He placed them in the Garden of Eden so that He could have a Fatherly relationship with them.
  4. YAH gave them rules—what to do and what not to do—so that He would have an obedient set-apart people who would love Him and be in covenant with Him.  YAH desires our obedience.
  5. His desire is for us to be healthy and prosperous, lacking nothing.  He desires all good things to come to us.  Adam and Hawwah had all that they ever needed in the garden, but they disobeyed and fell.  When they disobeyed, the seed of satan’s kingdom entered Hawwah and she reproduced.  Sin was sowed into the set-apart people of YAH.
  6. When one disobeys the rules, the Laws of Elohim Most High, he is punished.  Sin brings death through all forms.
  7. YAH brings the judgment, and YAH brings the deliverance.  Because of Adam and Hawwah’s disobedience, YAH had to have a plan of salvation.  Man is made from dust and man will sin; therefore, YAH had to quickly set a plan of redemption into motion, so that He will always have a remnant after His wrath.
  8. The Compassion of YAH has to be powerful enough to stop the righteous wrath.  (The wrath of YAH is righteous because of sin and disobedience.)

PURPOSE OF THE SERPENT IN THE GARDEN

The Scriptures says that a messenger of Elohim disobeyed YAH and wanted to take His place as Most High, Creator of the universe.  But YAH threw him out of heaven to the earth, and he came to the garden of Eden.  I believe he was placed in the garden in order to be defeated by the Word of Elohim and obedience to His word.  The spirit of YAHUAH was upon Adam and Hawwah to speak the word of Elohim and defeat satan’s lies.  The serpent approached Hawwah because unlike Adam, YAH built her to reproduce and be the mother of His people.  The devil deceived her into thinking wrongly, and then she told Adam who in turn obeyed her.  The evil one caused Hawwah (eve) to reason with him and he got her to obey him instead of Elohim. You can only have one master to serve. The devil planted a seed of sin and disobedience in the woman.  Punishment came because they disobeyed Yahuah's word. Elohim placed them out of the garden and caused man to work for bread by the sweat of his brow.  With sin and disobedience comes hardship and sickness in life. If Adam and Hawwah had only obeyed Elohim, there would not be death in the world today.

Obedience to the word of Elohim destroys obedience to the serpent of old.  When you obey YAH, He blesses you.  When you obey the voice of the serpent, you are disobeying YAH which brings a curse, and satan’s rule continues in your life.

SEARCHING FOR A PEOPLE

After YAH placed Adam and Hawwah out of the garden, He began searching for a people that would hear Him and obey Him to destroy the existence of the serpent’s seed.

Qayin (Cain) and Hebel were born:  Qayin was the serpent’s seed, and Hebel was the woman’s seed.  Qayin killed Hebel, so YAH appointed Sheth as the chosen seed.

YAH saved righteous Noach while the rest of the world perished in the flood.

YAH chose Abraham to once again begin a set-apart people for Himself.  He chose Abraham, tested him, and made him prosperous.  He multiplied Abraham’s flocks and all his people.  YAH made a covenant with Abraham to bring His people to the Land of Promise, a land flowing with milk and honey.  Abraham obeyed YAH and received the promise.  He promised Abraham that His seed will inherit the land.  Elohim began the process all over again through Abraham to bring His people into the spiritual Garden of Eden by physically bringing them into the Promised Land.  To become a seed of Abraham, you must believe as Abraham believed.

Abraham had sons Yishma’el and Yitshaq, and Elohim chose Yitshaq for the promised seed.

Yitshaq then had Ya’aqob and Esaw.  YAHUAH chose Ya’aqob as the promised seed.

Ya’aqob had twelve sons and one daughter.  Yahudah, the 4th son, became the firstborn on account of sin from the three eldest.  Yoseph was separated and began his own line having two sons (whom Ya’aqob added as his own).  Ya’aqob and Yoseph were reunited, and then Ephrayim was blessed as a firstborn and chosen for the promised seed.  Yahudah, the firstborn, and Ephrayim, the firstborn of Yoseph: the king and priestly lines were being developed.

Ya’aqob’s family, the people of Abraham, went down to  Mitsrayim and remained there with Yoseph and lived prosperously.  But after Pharaoh died, they were taken as slaves by the Mitsrites and remained there 430 years.

YAH raised up Moshe and prepared him for 40 years to deliver His people out of bondage.  Elohim struck Mistrayim with 10 plagues and in the midst of judgment He delivered His people.  He opened the Sea of Reeds and let them cross over on dry land. YAH brought His people to the wilderness and fed them with manna from heaven and water from the rock.

YAHUAH expressed to Moshe that He was raising up a people for Himself to be a special treasure.  He gave them laws and right-rulings to obey.  He spoke to Moshe and the people at Sinai just like He did with Adam and Hawwah in the garden.  Once again, if they would hear His voice and obey, this would destroy satan’s rule.  He could no longer reproduce but be destroyed. The people in the wilderness heard the voice of Elohim, even through Moshe.  Yet, they hardened their hearts and fell into disobedience causing the wrath of YAH to punish them in the wilderness for 40 years.

That rebellious generation died off, and YAHUAH Elohim raised up their children led by Yehoshua.  Through belief, these crossed through the Jordan River into the Promised Land.

When Israel disobeyed the Laws of Elohim, they were punished with defeat and oppression.  Yet, YAH would send judges to deliver them when they repented.  When they obeyed, Israel prospered and won their battles.

Yet, the sin of disobedience rose up again in the midst of His people.  This time YAH kept two tribes—Yahudah and Lewi—in the land and scattered all of the other ten tribes throughout the world into every nation and tongue.  He knew one day He would forgive their sins and gather them back.

Two tribes remained in the land, and when they too sinned against YAHUAH through disobedience, they were scattered and the cities burned.  He scattered them to Babylon under King Nebukadretstsar who took them captive for 70 years.

After the Babylonian captivity, the exiles were allowed back into Yerushalayim but only through the Registry.  The names of their fathers had to be listed to prove their genealogy.  There were many whose names were not on the Registry and they were unable to partake of the priesthood.  These ones were not on the Registry because they were of the lost tribes who were scattered before the exile to Babylon.  They could only return if a high priest of Elohim stood up who possessed the Urim and Tummim.  This would be a priest who heard from Elohim and would consult Him for decisions.  This priest had to stand up for the Lost Sheep to return.

YAHUAH raised up a Prophet from among His people—just like He told Moshe in the Book of Debarim:  יהוה your Elohim shall raise up for you a Prophet like me from your midst, from your brothers. Listen to Him,” (Deb. 18:15) “I shall raise up for them a Prophet like you out of the midst of their brothers. And I shall put My Words in His mouth, and He shall speak to them all that I command Him.” (Deb. 18:18)  In His mouth He shall place His word and Him only shall you obey.  YAHUSHUAH is that High Priest with the word of Elohim.  He is of the woman’s seed and the seed of Abraham.

Then, satan visited YAHUSHUAH to put Him to the test as he did to Hawwah—taking the word of Elohim and misusing it to try to trap YAHUSHUAH.  If YAHUSHUAH listened to him like Hawwah did, then He would have disobeyed Elohim.  Praise YAH!  YAHUSHUAH defeated everything the serpent put forth with the word! YAHUSHUAH defeated the serpent of old!

The devil lied to Hawwah and deceived her—but NO MORE!  YAHUSHUAH defeated the enemy and conquered the world of sin so that whoever believes in Him and does His Word will be saved and escape YAH’s judgment.  YAHUSHUAH defeated death and gave life to the believers to undo Adam’s disobedience.  Life comes through obedience to YAH through YAHUSHUAH.

Now through YAHUSHUAH, we have the promise of life more abundantly, the promise of prosperity, the rebuilding of the Tabernacle, walking with Elohim in obedience, and the reproducing of obedient children of El.  All these promises come to the daughters of Tsiyon.  The daughters of Tsiyon are those who through a life of testing have obeyed the voice of Elohim; they have called the devil a liar and took hold of the tzitzit of YAHUSHUAH, enduring every test to prove to YAH that they will obey Him and Him only.  The daughters of Tsiyon are neither male nor female, but ONE in the Messiah.  Through obedience to the voice of YAHUSHUAH—our Shepherd, the Great Shepherd, the Light of the world—the Gate was opened and we entered.  We made it back to Renewed Yerushalayim, the City of Truth.

The voice of the devil, the serpent of old, cannot be obeyed by the believers.   A handful of obedient believers can destroy all of satan’s world.

YERUSHALAYIM--COMPLETION

The way to completion is to obey and endure through the Messiah YAHUSHUAH!

Yerushalayim’ means 'pointing the way to completion.'  It is the city which points one to completion.  Making it to Yerushalayim—completion—requires obedience to the end.  This House of Prayer has now been brought to completion! (See Shelomoh's prayer in 1 Melakim/1Kings 8 and Messiah's prayer in Yohanan/John 17)

YAHUSHUAH will now return for His Bride who has made herself ready.  YAHUSHUAH takes His place with His Bride surrounding Him to reign in truth and obedience to YAHUAH.

SUKKOT

This season is Sukkot, where YAHUSHUAH and the Father come and make His Dwelling with His people once again—like He had in the Garden of Eden.  The plan of redemption put in motion from the garden of eden has been completed.  YAH once again dwells with His people, His people who obeyed His Word through YAHUSHUAH and defeated the serpent!  HalleluYAH!

We now must tend the flock of Elohim until the Messiah returns for final and complete redemption.
