Anointed Shema Tags & Wristbands
Gifts from YAHUAH

The Tefillin of the Assembly of the Messiah YAHUSHUAH

YAH has given our assembly gifts that we can use to obey His commands in Deb/Deut. 6:4-9--to bind His Word as a sign upon our hand and as frontlets between our eyes.

The traditional Orthodox Jewish Tefillin are head and arm wraps used by the Jews as a sign of the covenant between God and His people. YAHUSHUAH our Messiah is the Mediator of the Renewed Covenant of YAHUAH. Yahushuah writes the laws and commands of YAH on our hearts and minds (Jer/Yirm. 31:33; Heb/Ibr. 8:10).

The Messiah Yahushuah has given us the Shema Tags and Shema Wristbands as Tefillin. They are a sign of the Renewed Covenant between Yahushuah and the Assembly--the same Covenant between the Father and Israel, RENEWED!  One people, One Elohim, and One Assembly!

The Anointed Shema Tags and Shema Wristbands are the tefillin for the Assembly of YAHUSHUAH. The metal tags are embossed with the words of the Shema and the first and greatest command. The silicon wristbands also have the Shema and the first command:

Hear O Israel, YAHUAH our Elohim, YAHUAH is One.  You shall love YAHUAH your Elohim with all your heart, being, and might. (Deut. 6:4,5)

These Shema tags are placed on our Altar and anointed by YAH. We distribute the tags and wristbands to believers who want to obey His commands to love Him. We are to remember at all times to love YAHUAH our Elohim with all our heart, mind, being, and strength and to love our neighbor as ourselves.

THE SHEMA:   "Hear, O Yisra'el: YAHUAH our Elohim, YAHUAH is One! And you shall love YAHUAH your Elohim with all your heart, and with all your being, and with all your might. And these Words which I am commanding you today shall be in your heart, and you shall impress them upon your children, and shall speak of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up, and shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes.  And you shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates." (Deb/Deut.6:4-9)

SHEMA TAG - PRAYER GUIDE

1) Place the chain over the two center fingers of your right hand, with palm up and tags hanging down. Then recite:

Blessed are You YAHUAH our Elohim, Sovereign of the universe, Who has set us apart in Your Word, and has given us YAHUSHUAH, the Messiah of Israel, and has commanded us to hear Him!"  (Deut/Deb. 18:18-19; Mark 9:7)

2) Wrap the chain around your right hand, and hold the tags in the center of the palm. Position the tags in your palm so that they point toward the forearm, and the tag reading ‘Hear O Israel…’ is on top. Hold the tags in place with your thumb.

3) Then recite:

Blessed are You  YAHUAH our Elohim, Sovereign of the universe, Who has set us apart in Your Word, and has given us the Words of the Greatest Command, and has commanded that we obey His instructions. (Deb/Deut. 6:4-9)

Recite“And I shall take you as a bride unto Me forever, and take you as a bride unto Me in righteousness, and in right-ruling, and kindness and compassion. And I shall take you as a bride unto Me in trustworthiness, and you shall know YAHUAH."   (Hosea 2:19-20)

Recall the Passover out of Egypt: how YAH delivered His people out of Egypt with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm.  Recall how the Messiah Yahushuah became the Passover Lamb.  He is our Deliverer--YAHUSHUAH--the Resurrected Messiah of Israel, Who brings all believers out from spiritual Egypt and Babylon by repentance and forgiveness of sins.

4) Unwrap the chain from hand and place around your neck. Then recite the complete Shema from Deb/Deut. 6:4-9:

Hear O Yisra’el: YAHUAH our Elohim, YAHUAH is One! And you shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates."
